Meet the team: Adam Carroll-Smith, James Piercy, Lynn Goring-Crook
Adam Carroll-Smith - Senior Features Writer
Adam has been a journalist since 2006 when he began his career as a film and music reviewer for a number of music magazines and websites.
He joined M & Y initially as a news reporter in March 2009, before helping to build the already thriving Features arm of the business and being promoted to the role of Features Editor.
Since his change of role, Adam has had articles published in many of the biggest selling women’s magazines in the country including Chat, Love It!, Real People and That’s Life, and has also had in-depth stories published in The Daily Mail’s Femail section and The Sunday Express among others.
Adam said:
“I first wanted to get into journalism because I am a people person and believe everybody has a story in them.
“I enjoy covering quirky, light-hearted stories which raise a smile, but I also relish covering the sort of intensely personal stories which demand to be told with respect and sensitivity. We pride ourselves on being able to bring stories from both ends of that spectrum to life.”
James Piercy
James has been writing since 2004 and joined the agency’s thriving news team in 2005.
He has always had a love for the written word and as a young boy spent hours scanning the pages of his parents’ favourite newspapers.
James had established good contracts with all the leading UK lifestyle magazines and his articles have appeared in That’s Life, Bella, Woman’s Own and Real People.
He is also regularly by-lined in many of the major national newspapers including The People, Sunday Mirror, Sunday Express and Mail on Sunday.
James said:

Lynn Goring-Crook
Lynn has been involved in journalism since the age of 16 when she covered pop festivals for music websites.
She has worked for M&Y since 2003 and her sympathetic approach to real-life issues has helped many happy customers tell their stories.
